Hines Health Services Welcomes Senior Clinical Experience to Northern Alberta
We’re pleased to share the latest updates and milestones from Hines Health Services (HHS) as we continue to expand our reach and strengthen our commitment to delivering exceptional occupational health, emergency response, and medical staffing.
Hines Health Services is pleased to announce that Mandy Parenteau, RN, has joined the organization as an Occupational Health and Emergency Response Nurse, relocating from Saskatchewan to support energy sector operations in Northern Alberta.
With more than 30 years of nursing experience, Mandy brings extensive expertise across emergency care, rural and remote practice, acute and long-term care, community health, Indigenous health, and case management. Her career includes frontline and leadership roles with Alberta Health Services, Saskatchewan Health Authority, and Vancouver Island Health Authority, providing a strong foundation in public-system governance and disciplined clinical practice.
Mandy will work as part of an integrated team of nurses, paramedics, and firefighters delivering coordinated medical and emergency response services in support of energy operations across Northern Alberta.
“Bringing senior clinical experience to Northern Alberta is essential to strong outcomes in the energy sector,” said Kristi Hines, Founder and CEO of Hines Health Services. “Bringing this level of experience to the region matters. Mandy’s decision to relocate north reflects the calibre of professionals who choose to practice here and strengthens the depth of our integrated medical and emergency response teams.”
“I have always wanted to work in the North,” said Parenteau. “The opportunity to support energy operations while working within experienced, team-based response environments was a natural fit for me.”
Mandy is recognized for her strong clinical judgment, steady decision-making, and collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams. She holds advanced certifications, including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC, and brings a strong safety mindset and commitment to evidence-based care to every site she supports.
Hines Health Services is proud to support experienced clinicians who choose to build their careers in Northern Alberta and to continue strengthening healthcare delivery across the energy sector.

This insight has profound implications for leadership and workplace well-being. In our blog post, we explore why emotional recovery deserves the same attention as physical healing, and how leaders can build cultures that truly support both.
