Kristi Hines Named 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient

We’re incredibly proud to share some exciting news about Hines Health founder and CEO Kristi Hines.

Kristi has been named this year’s recipient of Keyano College’s Distinguished Alumni Award, recognizing her outstanding leadership, entrepreneurial success and contributions to healthcare.

A graduate of Keyano’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (BScN, 2001), Kristi has built her career around a simple but powerful belief: healthcare should be personal, compassionate and centred around the people who need it.

Through Hines Health, she has brought that philosophy to life, building a healthcare organization focused on delivering exceptional care while creating meaningful opportunities for healthcare professionals. Her leadership and entrepreneurial spirit have helped shape Hines Health into the organization it is today.

On November 7, Kristi will return to Keyano College to formally receive the Distinguished Alumni Award at Encore, where she will also take the stage as the evening’s featured speaker.

“It’s such an honour to receive this award from the college that played such an important role in the beginning of my nursing career,” says Kristi. “I’m incredibly grateful for the education, experiences and people who helped shape the path I’ve taken.”

The 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes the accomplishments of a Keyano graduate who brings a legacy of excellence to the college.

Kristi was officially announced as one of this year’s exceptional alumni at a Keyano Alumni Luncheon, alongside several other graduates whose accomplishments are making an impact in their communities and beyond.

For the Hines Health team, this recognition is a wonderful reflection of Kristi’s dedication to healthcare, her entrepreneurial journey and the people who have been part of it along the way.
