Hello Hines Health Services subscribers!

Thanks for signing up for our newsletter. We’re pleased to bring you these updates on Hines Health Services and occupational health trends in the community.

The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) recently made updates to Canada’s Low-Risk Alcohol Drinking Guidelines based on the latest research and evidence. These new recommendations suggest that alcohol-related consequences to health are a potential cause for concern after as little as two drinks per week. This is a significant departure from the previously recommended 15 drinks for men and 10 for women. Another interesting development that has come from this new research, is that alcohol limit guidelines are the same for both men and women, again contrasting with recommendations made in 2011.
