Student and Education Mentorship

Investing in the Future of Healthcare

For over a decade, Hines Health Services has been more than a healthcare provider — we have been a mentor, an educator, and a supporter of the next generation of nurses. Since 2014, we have proudly partnered with the University of Alberta and Keyano College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Collaborative Program to provide hands-on training and practical experience in occupational health for third-year nursing students.

Through our mentorship program, students have the opportunity to:

  • Learn directly from experienced registered nurses and occupational health specialists.
  • Gain clinical exposure in areas such as audiometric testing, immunizations, health assessments, and disability management.
  • Build confidence by applying classroom knowledge in a supportive, professional environment.

These mentorship experiences go beyond technical training — they help shape the future of healthcare in our region by preparing skilled, confident, and community-minded professionals.
